Brandon Barry Brown is a Buffalo, NY born and raised, Los Angeles based classically trained oil painter. At the age of 26 after collecting fine Art for many years, Brandon was trained under Master Fine Artist, Guiti Zihagh, who helped to help evolve his Art to a new level. Noticing a lack of Black and Brown people shown or misrepresented in Art, Brandon took it upon himself to break barriers and dedicate his work to highlighting these Beautiful people that look like him.

Brandon’s work serves as a visual exploration of the lived experiences, struggles, and triumphs of black and brown people in America. Rooted in a commitment to representing the diverse narratives within our communities, his art delves into the complexities of race, culture, and freedom, offering a nuanced reflection of our shared humanity. Brandon Barry Brown has had numerous solo exhibitions, where all of his work sold out the opening week as well as group shows where his work is often the main attraction. Inspired by the works of Kihende Wiley, Banksy, Kerry James Marshall, Kara Walker and so many more, his work is dedicated to living well beyond his life.
